Raw material for fluidterm pipe production
According to the testing, PPR-Random type-3 with high molecular weight meets all the necessary acquirements which are given by the German ministry department of health and the German pipe standards DIN 8077-8078 and DIN16962. The quality of this material is being controlled by the Institute for health care of Republic of Serbia, the Institute for raw materials, and independent certified Swedish laboratory Bodycote as well.
Appliance
Fluidterm pipes are intended to be used for the installation of hot and cold hygienic-sanitary water. They can completely replace galvanized pipes in use for drinking water, even with the high contents of calcium (Ca). They are also intended for the transport of alimentary liquids, irrigation of the greenhouses and gardens, shipment of pressure air, vacuum installations, in chemical industry for the flow of various fluids, as well as for the transport of the sea water, petroleum oil and highly abrasive fluids. They are commonly used for radiator heating, as well as for the floor heating and cooling systems. Their low weight and high tolerance to vibrations, allow their application in trains, ships, trucks and camping trailers, in aggressive environments and on unstable ground.
Basic advantages
• Long life time thanks to their resistance to environmental influences; non corrosive
• Impossible perforation caused by ‘’stray currents’’
• Low pressure losses because of the smooth surfaces, which do not allow the deposit of stone layer on the pipe walls, turbulences or friction
• They are completely nontoxic and in compliance with standards for the transfer of potable water
• High capability of thermal and sound isolation
• They reduce the risk of condensation to a minimum, which is the characteristic of the metal installation
• They are resistant to frost
• Energy saving
• All of the turn inclusions are built into the fittings and are made of hot forged brass, protected by thin galvanized layer (Ni), which guarantee the impermeability of the couplings.
The fluid is not in direct contact with metal intermediates since they are wrapped up in a thin layer of PP
• Great welding ability. All parts can be connected with welder or electrical muff
• Low weight (9 times lighter than steel) which makes it easier for transport and handling of the pipes
