Polyethylene pipes are made in yellow or black color with smooth outside walls and with toothed internal walls. Pipes are made of high density polyethylene PEHD-80, PEHD-100. Pressure when inserting optical cables inside the pipes at +20°C should be 6 bar. Pipes are used as a protection for optical telecommunication cables which are inserted into the pipes, for the cable network built in the cities or between the cities. These pipes are in accordance with quality requirements published in “PTT Vesnik” 25/87 for optical cables. Pipes are packed in the 500 m coils, with the possibility of making the packaging on buyers’ request.
