COMPLETE CONNECTION
‘’ANGER-LOCK’’ seal rubber bend supposes the combination of the gap for the seal and pressure of the seal which is firmly inserted in to the muff of the pipe, completing the seal throughout the entire pipe thus avoiding many unfavorable characteristics of other types of rubber bends. Seal rubber bend is inserted in the muff of the pipe, in which state it reaches the customer. While connecting two pipes, it deforms it self and performs the pressure on the muff of the pipe, thus making an ideal connection. This way the pipe pressure can vary, so that the seal rubber bend must adjust its self to these kind of deformations, on the other hand, standard rubber bands allow the coherence with the send and other kind of impurities, that is why the ‘’ANGER-LOCK’’ rubber bends are designed in such manner to prevent these problems.
EPDM RUBBER (ETHYLENE PROPYLENE DIENE METHYLENE)
Is the ideal material for the seals which must be resistant to UV-beams, ageing, weather changes, oxidation and ozone, also they must be resistant to various types of acids and alcohol groups. Such material, with its magnificent features, guarantees perfect durability of the rubber bends for the period of 100 years.
TESTING
Of the rubber bends is performed by simulation of different life conditions with special pulsating test, when the pipe pressure is changing from positive into negative 50kPa-1,3MPa for the period of 1 min and for approximately 2000 cycles. With the regular (old type) rubber bends there is a possibility of entrance of the send and the dirt into the pipe line, caused by constant presence of friction and low quality material. With ‘’ANGER-LOCK’’ rubber bends coupling is complete and without the possibility of entrance of the send or any other impurities inside the installation system. Rubber bends ‘’ANGER-LOCK’’, made of EPDM conform to the European standard EN 681-1. Also it is proven that these rubber bends can be used in contact with cold tap water.
MINIMUM STRENGTH FOR THE INSERTION
‘’ANGER-LOCK’’ seals are designed to make it easier for the employee to assemble it inside the trench, it is also impossible for the rubber bend to fall out or to turn itself upside down, that is why the risk of improper assembly practically does not exists. It is just necessary to lubricate the pipe ring. The gap is designed in such matter that it is not necessary to put to much energy into insertion, centering or the connection of the pipes, with the reduction of the risk of shifting of the rubber bend, even pipes with a larger diameters can be connected without special tools or equipment. Pipes and fittings can be connected quickly and easily.
EASY TO ASSEMBLE
‘’ANGER-LOCK’’ system of the seal rubber bends has a unique design which allows the production of both rubber and plastic parts at the same time, so that one element of coupling is being made. Soft plastic armature allows the insertion of the seal into the muff easily, even by hand, in a way that it can be bended in the spot with four kerfs, it bends within and on that way it’s been inserted into the muff. After the insertion it is being easily restored to its previous position thanks to the kerfs on the plastic part.
