Need for water represents the basic life necessity. On the other hand, too much water can cause many problems; that is why effective ground drainage plays very important part in agriculture, building of the tennis courts, roads, buildings, etc. If the proper types of pipes are not placed in accordance with ground features and present water, when for example constructing a building, irreversibly damaged can be made for just a short period of time. Because of that, drainage systems represent the necessity in any type of construction especially in agriculture or construction and road building, which provide optimal protection and use of the resources of ground water. PESTAN produces PEHD/PEHD and PEHD/PELD drainage pipes with smooth inner and corrugated outer walls.
Corrugated pipes differ from the other types of sewerage pipes by its ‘’sandwich’’ construction. Outside wall profile of the corrugated pipes allows high degree of stiffness and high degree of stability for these pipes, while the smooth inner wall allows the optimal and fast water flow. Inner and outer wall are homogenized. Gaps for water entrance are placed symmetrically along the pipe. Gaps are placed in the conduits of the corrugated pipes because of maximum protection against filter layer which surrounds it. This allows water to enter without obstacle. Gaps make >50cm2 of the water entrance surface.

STIFF DRAINAGE PIPES (COMPLETELY PERFORATED)
Purpose of SD (KD)-pipes is to assure the optimum drainage of both under degree and antifreeze layer. They are used during and after construction by placing them into the existing water and transporting it to the main dumping zone. Sleeves are sand impermeable. It is not necessary to install the rubber bend. Along the entire diameter of the pipe are placed 6 standard gaps at 60°.

KDK- STIFF DRAINAGE PIPES (PARTIALLY PERFORATED)
Partially perforated KDK stiff drainage-sewerage pipes represent the ideal combination of perforated and collecting pipes. If requested, they must be able to collect and transport all kinds of surface water, at short or long distances as well. Because of water transport, muff is impermeable to water and sand. Rubber bend is inserted into the third channel of the corrugated pipe, while the greased socket is inserted over the greased rubber bend. Pipes must be built in with skill by following the directions for placing the pipe lines according to the EN1610 DIN4033

FDK- FLEXIBLE DRAINAGE PIPES (COMPLETELY PERFORATED)
These pipes are light, highly flexible, and resistant to UV-radiation, solid, economical and easy to assemble. Due to special process the internal side of the pipe is smooth while the outside wall is ribbed. They can be connected with a muff, which is sand impermeable.
Temperature range of the application is from -40°C up to +60°C. They are packed and delivered in 50m coils. They are made out of PEHD/PELD material. Gaps make >50cm2/m of the water entrance surface. Gaps are placed symmetrically inside each channel of corrugated pipes. They can be laid faster and with more quality if placed with machines. When placing them, pipes can be covered with filter material.
The purpose of the filter is to increase leaking ability and to prevent fast pipe obturation. Number of water entrance gaps is optional. Standard pipe colors are BLACK and YELLOW-BLACK. It is possible, on buyers’ request, to produce the pipes in different colors.
