Employees in the campaign „Let’s clean up Serbia”

As a responsible company which is aware that everyone needs to give at least a small contribution in the preservation of the environment, in order to create better life for us and for the next generations, Peštan company has joined a campaign “Let’s Clean up Serbia”. On that occasion employees were cleaning Peštan riverbed, after which our company was named, thus send the message how much it is important to take care about the environment. In this way we earged the people who throw garbage all around us, where it doesn’t belong, to stop doing so, because that waste will remain in the same place and wait for the future generations to solve that problem.Peštan company has recently introduced an ISO 14001 standard, and accordingly it has contributed by this initiative to a better and cleaner environment. The campaign “Let’s Clean up Serbia” was held traditionally on the eve of The World Environment Day. This year it has a particular importance, since2011 was proclaimed a European Year of Volunteering. Today, more than 270.000 volunteers have cleaned over 3.000 locations in 169 municipalities throughout Serbia.
